Ma petite antiquité

A l'occasion du concours lancé par Séverine Vidal qui a écrit "Mamythologie", je poste ma participation avec une lettre dessinée. (j'en profiterai pour l'imprimer et l'envoyer à ma grand-mère)

This is a note I wrote about my Grand-mother Paulette. I submitted it for a competition with "Mamythologie" as the price (- Mamy=Granny and you mix it with mythology.) 

The story below is mainly based on memories, my grandma didn't want us to call her "Granny" but Paulette, her name. She was a nurse and she's still travelling around the world with 'Doctors of the world'. She doesn't look like her 80s, thanks to beautiful and shinny hair coloration, great smile, and blue eyes with yellow little stains on. She is a great cooker but she blows up a fire in her kitchen making "crème brulée"- literally 'burned cream'. And the most important part is she is stubborn and difficult for some people but for her grand-children, she is the loveliest grandma we could ever have. She's precious, priceless and valuable and that's why I gave her the nickname "my little antique".

Je remercie tout d'abord le fils de Lionel d'avoir choisi une Grand-mère avec un lapin en poche.

I also submitted this Grandma with a pocket rabbit, and she won the drawing competition (there were text competition and drawing competition) - thanks to Lionel's son who had a crush for her.

puis Séverine, l'auteur et Lionel, l'illustrateur de "Mamythologie" (que j'ai gagné!) pour cette idée de concours. J'ai beaucoup aimé lire et voir les histoires au travers des textes et images des participants. Merci à tous d'avoir partagé.
